Microsoft have just released the long awaited Windows SDK for Kinect, their motion sensing controller. This initial version is for non-commercial use, but it provides the opportunity for people to explore the possibilities of this kind of technology at a fraction of the cost it would otherwise have been. The official Kinect SDK for Windows site enables anyone to download the SDK, provides documentation and tutorial videos, and currently still has a video recording of the Launch Event (you’ll need to skip about 18 minutes into this video).
